Matthew Hall is a social psychologist and qualitative researcher based at Nottingham Trent University, UK. He has published papers on men, masculinities and men´s health. In particular he is interested in understanding how men negotiate masculinities in non-typical gender practices and environments. He is also interested in the construction of new, mediated and cyberspace identities; gender and sexuality discourses in the media; embodiment and body image; conversation and social interaction. He has authored book chapters on masculinities in online settings and is currently co-authoring a book about revenge pornography.
