The book demonstrates the basic robot concepts, their industrial applications and the financial analysis of the robotic engineering. It also gives the opportunity of a robot handling project development. he project concerns an automatic control system of products from the production line to the packing unit. The system consisted of industrial robots, conveyor systems and an inspection station connected with robots via local electronic control system.

Dr. Ntantis received BEng in Mechanical Engineering with Power/Aerospace Engineering from the University of Surrey. He earned MSc in Mechatronics at the London South Bank University and completed his PhD in Gas Turbine Diagnostics from Cranfield University. His research interests are thermal power, mechanical design and manufacturing technology.
