A network that can be easily scaled without any distraction while maintaining reliable, fast, and secure communication is vital for the success of today´s business operation in organizations. With this presumption in mind, organizations are increasingly investing and working hard towards achieving this goal. Among many critical issues receiving due attention, IPv4 address depletion can be listed as vital event that can highly hamper organizational competitiveness, business sustainability, and operational capability of organizations, therefore, IPV4 to IPv6 migration has become imminent . For a seamless transition or migration of the protocol in organizations, preexisted scenario based studies in organizations on IPv6 to IPv6 migration issues, such as technical, business, management...etc. would be very. Even though there are enough studies on technical aspect, a very little academic literature exists on organizational aspect of making a protocol migration decision and what are the core factors.
