The Helicoverpa armigera collections were made from south india comprising of three states (Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharastra) with measurable amount of resistance to most recent molecules. The results of insecticide resistance and cross resistance showed possible means for the management of helicoverpa armigera. This is worthy to study the management tactics with the insecticide rotations and to characterise the resistant individuals using advanced technologies.
