This textbook is a study of traditional farming practices of tribal farmers of Madhya Pradesh. In this book author covered different traditional farming practices such as sowing method, seed treatment, weather prediction, harvesting method, storage practices, indigenous livestock practices, indigenous human health practices, communication pattern etc. The documented study also validated by more than 50 expert. the validated study recommended to the farmers for improvement in their farming. Author also suggested that recommended farming practices should make available to other regions also, so the farmers of that region also take the benefit.

Mr. Vinod Singh obtained his BSc (Ag.) degree from Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari, Gujrat and MSc (Agricultural Extension) from Acharya N. G. Ranga Agri.uni. Hyderabad (A.P.) and presently working as a Research Scholar in Dept of Agricultural Communication, G.B.Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar (Uttarakhand).
