cpp-acp is a milk-derived product that is claimed to remineralize teeth and help in preventing dental caries. Casein phosphopeptides (cpp) from the major protein of milk have the ability to stabilize calcium, phosphate and fluoride ions as water soluble amorphous complexes that provide bioavailable calcium, phosphate and fluoride ions to the teeth. Chemistry of saliva showed an increase in salivary levels of calcium, and phosphate by using of cpp-acp that affect increasing of salivary PH, which might inhibit the growth of Streptococcus mutans and Lactobacillus acidophilus .
