Money is indispensable to conducting election anywhere in the world. Money is incurred to finance every inch of the process. However, the indispensability of money in electoral process is mostly abuse in Nigeria. Beyond the popularity of any candidate among the electorates, victory at the polls is greatly determined by the power of money. This fully played out in 2007 and 2011 general elections.

AKINTOLA Olusola Ezekiel hails from Ogbomoso in Oyo State, Nigeria, where he had both his primary and secondary education. He graduated from the prestigious University of Abuja, where he read Political Science and Political Economy and Development Studies for his bachelor and master degree respectively.
