Job satisfaction of college faculty members has been examined in many different disciplines; however, the field of exercise science has appears not to have been researched. Exercise science is a rapidly growing field in higher education and research has shown that many faculty members are satisfied with their chosen profession. This book examines the factors involving job satisfaction within this field along with some research to explain what causes job satisfaction and job dissatisfaction within higher education.Dr. Mark Kelley is an Assistant Professor of Exercise Science & Program Director of Exercise Science at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. He has a Ph.D in Education from Capella University, a M.S in Exercise & Wellness Promotion from Slippery Rock University and a B.S in Sports Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.
