CSR has been in the agenda of many firms for a long time. Throughout this research, the author investigates CSR activities that influence the franchisorīs performance in Austria by differentiating between promotional and institutional CSR activities. The results of this study provide support for the conclusion that there is a positive impact of institutional CSR activities on the franchisorīs performance.Deniz Cantutan was born in Istanbul. She studied for Bachelor s degree in Istanbul and then obtained her Master s degree in International Business at the University of Vienna in 2014. She was involved in many Corporate Social Responsibility projects during her career, therefore she did research about this topic for the franchise industry in Austria
