Adaptive filters have become greatly popular in the area of digital signal processing, Especially its adaptive noise canceler (ANC) configuration which gets the most attention because of its use in portable devices like mobile phone. This book searches on how to build an adaptive noise canceler on FPGA. In this book, a comparison of some Variable Step Size LMS (VSSLMS) adaptive algorithms is carried out. Each component of the system design is built using VHLD language and then translates to the schematic library of Xilinx ISE 10.1i for using in complete system design, except the multiplier is built using embedded multiplier.
Thamer M. Jamel was born in Baghdad , Iraq in 1961. He graduated from the University of Technology with B.Sc. , M.Sc. and a PhD degree in communication engineering. His scientific degree is associate professor since 2009 .His research Interests on Adaptive Digital Signal Processing (Algorithms and Applications) for Communications System.
