This work is of special interest because the author investigates and analyzes all that could be called important document in reference to the area of Alba Iulia, certainly from musical point of view, plus consulting a rich Romanian and foreign bibliography. The doctoral work of the priest Domin Adam from Alba Iulia - a young researcher, diligent and talented, modest, balanced and eager to find something new or at least to bring out old documents, doing his duty as a servant and a university professor with great conscientiousness - follows this line drawn by us together with colleagues from other theological faculties in the country.
