Europe is the land of redistributive policies which has evolved as a tolerant society in which various ethnic and religious minorities are existing and thriving both on individual and corporate level. One such prominent example is of Islamic banking and finance which is based on ethical principles. Despite its low share of the global financial market, it has been one of the fastest growing segments in the field of finance over the last decades and has gained further momentum in the wake of recent economic crisis. This book examines the seriousness of the erudite way of Islamic banking and finance, with a special focus on Europe.
