Nach intensiver Recherche und Analyse präsentiert das Institut für Zeitgenossenschaft IFZ in einem umfassenden Grundlagenwerk erstmalig die Ergebnisse jahrelanger Forschungsarbeit: Mit Die 100 wichtigsten Dinge gibt das IFZ ein Kompendium heraus, das sich jeglicher simplifizierenden Logik widersetzt und trotzdem schön anzusehen ist. Das Ziel: die Benennung der letzten materiellen Wahrheiten in einer endgültigen, auch für den Nicht-Wissenschaftler verständlichen Auswahl von genau 100 Dingen - den wichtigsten (!) Dingen.

Das mag zunächst wenig spektakulär anmuten, doch mit der Reduktion auf 100 Texte und 100 Fotografien stellt dieser Band den ersten Leitfaden zur Orientierung in unserer heutigen Wissensgesellschaft dar und eröffnet dem Leser eine völlig neue Perspektive auf die Welt der Dinge.
