Themenschwerpunkte der diesjährigen Veranstaltung sind aktuelle Fernerkundungsdaten, Computer Vision und Computergrafik sowie neue Forschungen in der Geoinformatik.

The contributions to this book are the Keynotes and Invited Papers of the 55th Photogrammetric Week held at the University of Stuttgart, September 7 to 11, 2015. Therefore, the book represents an actual snapshot of interesting developments in photogrammetry, remote sensing and geoinformatics. In more detail, it is focused on the progress in the following fields

- Remotely Sensed Data Acquisition - An Update
- Advanced Modelling in Photogrammetry, Computer Vision and Computer Graphics
- Excellence in Geoinformatics

In order to review the latest technology and methods of image-based data collection, LiDAR and RADAR, detailed knowledge about hardware, software, algorithms and IT infrastructures is necessary. Therefore the book will serve to those readers, who always want to refresh their professional knowledge in these fields. It will continue the series of PhoWo proceedings, which have been biennially published since 1975.

The book is directed to scientists and practitioners of photogrammetry, remote sensing and application engineers of geoinformatics.
