Spinderella the spider has a passion for football. But when she tries to play a match with her brothers and sisters, she doesn´t know how many spiders should be on each team. Even worse, she can´t count the goals! Luckily, Spinderella lives on the ceiling of a school dinner hall and with the help of her Hairy Godmother, she finds a classroom where all her questions are answered .

Julia Donaldson, geb. 1948 in London, arbeitete als Lektorin, Journalistin und Lehrerin. Heute lebt sie als freie Schriftstellerin mit ihrer Familie in Glasgow. 2011 wurde Julia Donaldson mit dem ´Children´s Laureate 2011 - 2013´ ausgezeichnet.

Sébastien Braun studierte Angewandte Künste an der Universität Straßburg. Er unterrichtete selbst in diesem Fach, bevor er sich als Illustrator selbständig machte. Seit 2000 lebt und arbeitet er in London.
