Der italienische Karosseriegestalter Zagato präsentiert im Vorfeld seines 100-jährigen Bestehens eine Bildband-Trilogie. Leica and Zagato - USA Collectibles ist das erste von drei Coffee-Table-Books und stellt berühmte Zagato-Design-Kunstwerke, die derzeit in den USA zu Hause sind, vor. Die USA bietet mit ihren vielen unterschiedlichen Landschaften auch die Bühne, auf der Fotograf Winston S. Goodfellow die Zagato-Autos mit seinen Leica-Kameras festhält.

Zusätzlich zu den emotionalen Fotoreportagen widmet das Buch den gemeinsamen Design-Projekten von Leica und Zagato ein Kapitel. Und auch die Geschichte des Familienunternehmens Zagato wird anhand der porträtierten Autos beleuchtet. 1919 von Ugo Zagato gegründet, im Jahr 2016 von Andrea Zagato geführt, ist Zagato vor allem für seine Karosseriedesigns für die großen italienischen Marken wie Lancia, Fiat und Alfa Romeo bekannt. Berühmt sind der 1928 gefertigte Alfa Romeo 6C 1500 SS sowie der legendäre Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 von 1931.
