literaturkritik.de ist ein seit 1999 vom Institut für Neuere deutsche Literatur und Medien der Universität Marburg betriebenes Online-Rezensionsforum für literarische und kulturwissenschaftliche Publikationen.

Lisette Gebhardt ist Professorin an der Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main; aktuell beschäftigt sie sich mit literarischen Repräsentationen von Zeitgeschichte, im Speziellen mit Japan nach "Fukushima".

Five years have passed since the Fukushima three-fold-catastrophe of March 2011, while thirty years ago, in April 1986, the first total meltdown of a nuclear reactor occurred in Chernobyl. In light of these anniversaries, the book review site literaturkritik.de presented in its April issue of 2016 a thematic compilation called "Nuclear Narratives", arranged in cooperation with the Department of Japanese Studies, Frankfurt. In the book version, more than twenty reviews highlight recent and older literary representations of the nuclear as well as new research into the phenomena of the apocalyptic and of apocalyptic vision in literature and art. The volume, through its numerous contributions as well as a name index and an index of key terms, offers an overview of explorations into the nuclear age in art and the cultural sciences.

Editors literaturkritik.de is an online forum for book reviews, founded in 1999 by the Institut für Neuere deutsche Literatur und Medien / Institute for Newer German Literature and Media at Marburg University. Lisette Gebhardt is professor of Japanese studies at Goethe University Frankfurt. Her current research focus is on literary representations of contemporary history (Zeitgeschichte), with particular attention given to Japan after "Fukushima".
