The book presents Swedish Lapland with over 400 high-quality, partially full-page images and a balanced descriptive text. Besides travel and route descriptions the stay and possible activities are described. General and useful advice and information about the Sami, Lapland´s indigenous people, complete the description. The travel to the target region Hemavan Tärnaby in Sweden via the Swedish west coast and Trondheim in Norway is described, starting in Gothenburg. The return journey to Gothenburg leads across the Swedish east coast. Sundsvall and Gävle are presented here.

Idelmann, Alexander
Der Autor hatte in Deutschland, Finnland und den USA gelebt, bevor er Anfang 1998 nach Göteborg an die schwedische Westküste umzog. Nach einem Abschluss als Diplomkaufmann und einem Masterabschluss in Logistik widmete er sich der Fotografie und begann diese mit der Gestaltung von Medieninhalten und Marketing zu verbinden. Hinzugekommen sind seit kurzem das Schreiben und Verlegen von Büchern.
