Kindness - learn how to take action to change the world, one act of kindness at a time
The Little Book of Kindness will teach you how to be kind to yourself, to strangers, to those you love, to the world - every day, at every opportunity.

Prompted by the seeming hopelessness of the world around her, Bernadette Russell undertook a pledge to be kind to a stranger every day for a year. The experience left her wanting to inspire others. The Little Book of Kindness is packed with fun ideas, practical tips and interactive exercises that encourage you to ´be kind´ in every area of life - online, to strangers, to the environment, in your community, to yourself - and change the world, one act of kindness at a time.
Bernadette´s work is a beacon of hope and generosity - and this lovely book is packed full of inspiring ideas for how we can all ´be the change´ and help create a kinder, happier and more trusting world Dr Mark Williamson - Director, Action for Happiness
Bernadette Russell started a blog called 366 Days Of Kindness in 2011, detailing her attempt to be kind every day to a stranger, which began as a response to the UK riots of that year. In 2015 she was selected as one of the Southbank Centre´s 67 Changemakers for this on-going project, which has resulted in two large scale interactive installations (Dear Stranger and Coat Tales) an international touring theatre show (366 Days Of Kindness), a U.S radio documentary (The Kindness of Strangers) and two children´s activity books. She is a columnist for Balance magazine, writing a monthly musing on the theme of kindness.
