Ying Chang Compestine grew up in China and now lives in Lafayette, California. She is a popular author of children´s books, cookbooks, and novels.

David Roberts has illustrated many children´s books, including Iggy Peck, Architect and Rosie Revere, Engineer . He was runner-up for the prestigious Mother Goose Award for children´s illustration. He lives in London where, when not drawing, he likes to make hats.
