This book deals with the question ´How do children react to characters in the fantasy story Peter Pan?´. Moreover, it focuses on the use of stories and tales in foreign language learning. After taking a closer look at the fantasy story Peter Pan and the origins of the fantasy genre in general, this work will deal with an English project in a primary school in the Netherlands. The main focus of this project lies on the implementation of a fairy tale as a language learning tool.

Schüttbacher, Sandra
Sandra Schüttbacher was born in Bruck / Mur. As the only child of the family her dearest friends soon became tales and fantastic stories. At the tender age of 5 she already knew where her path would lead - teaching. Her passion has always been working with children. Shaping the future and imparting values has been her major goal.
