Breast cancer is a world wide problem and modified radical mastectomy is a standardard treatment. Complications and local recurrence can be prevented by autologous bone marrow derrived cell therapy. Professor Sribatsa Kumar Mahapatra presently working as professor of general surgery at VSSIMSAR,Sambalpur,Odisha , India in a teaching hospital with 1000 beds. He has FRCS (EDIN.) 1994, M.S (PGI Chandigarh) 1982 and M.B.B.S(HONS) 1977. He is famous for his translational research in stem cell and presented them in various international conferences.
