"The Twelve Powers" written by Charles Fillmore in 1930 has been a guide to spiritual development for decades. The 12 Steps originally presented in the Big Book by recovering alcoholics in 1939 have also been the foundation for healing, expanding to cover a wide range of addictions through to the present day. The authors, one a Unity Minister and the other a Professor of Psychology bring their experiences from a variety of 12 step programs to life in this book with the hope these anecdotes will heal the troubled souls along their spiritual journey, with the help of God´s 2 by 4 approach, as elucidated in the Unity literature by such authors as Hasselbeck and Horton exploring how the under or over development or expression of the 12 powers can create an imbalance in the path of recovery.
