Our world is the best ever, but it has become self-destructive: destroying human, social and natural capitals, approaching societal singularity with AI reaching human intelligence. Living "business-as-usual" way we can expect overpopulation, collapse of water system, loss of our habitat, climate change, widening gap between technological and cultures changes, and scientific research politically controlled. The book "The Future has no History" is a contribution to understand the sudden and unexpected uncertainties of the human and eco-special future that we cannot fully anticipate or foresee. It brings together a sobering sense of the impact of science, technology, demographics, and climate change, which serves as a strong reminder of the urgency of the issues humanity confronts. This book should be read by opinion leaders in all fields and in particular, the short-sighted political and business leaders who now confidently run the affairs of the planet.
