A refugee from civil war´s Somalia, Khader is a successful immigrant in Sweden, well-liked in all circles he moves in. But he begins to suspect that a close Swedish friend, an ex-United Nations soldier, had been involved in a massacre by the U.N forces in his home village. His suspicions are fuelled by a dominant preacher-like figure who wants to wean the young man away from western ways. The love-hate struggle in his mind has explosive, wide-ranging repercussions.

P. Nandakumar Warrier had his education in India, U.S.A and Sweden, eventually receiving a Ph.D from the University of Stockholm. He has worked for several years in research organizations and universities in Sweden, Oman and India. He iscurrently completing a book on the unique development patterns and societal interactions in the Nordic nations.
