With stories about his own experience growing up and living as a leader of the Mountain Jews of Azerbaijan, Milikh Yevdayev introduces a whole new Jewish world, and one that is very old. Milikh Yevdayev, born in Azerbaijan´s famous Red Village (Qirmizi Q s b ), which is one of the largest all-Jewish towns outside of Israel, was elected President of the Community of Azerbaijan´s Mountain Jews in 2012. As the Head of the Community, Yevdayev is actively engaged in intercultural and inter-religious dialogue in Azerbaijan and beyond.
