Victor Sohmen is a professor of management & leadership. He grew up in southern India, where he was introduced to English poetry in a military school (Sainik School, Amaravathinagar). He is a former foreign-going ship Captain and winner of the Canadian Governor-General´s Gold Medal for Academic Excellence. He lives with his family in Philadelphia.
