Acknowledgement
The story of the fairy valley has long been lying dormant within me. It came to life one sunny summer´s day while hiking to the Old Man of Storr through the little-known rolling hills behind it.
Sometimes there are ideas that do not seem sufficient for a complete novel, but are too voluminous for a short story. Then Ulrich Burger approached me with his novella project - and immediately the fairy fires started to flare up. Many thanks to you, dear Uli, that I can be part of this project! My thanks also go to Stephanie who did the editing and pointed out some little inconsistencies to me that somehow just sneak into every story, and to Tom, who - in my view - performed magic with a fantastic cover. And not to be forgotten is Fiona who translated Ravira´s saying into Gaelic for me. Aileen P. Roberts ist das Pseudonym der Autorin Claudia Lössl. Ihre Begeisterung für das Schreiben entdeckte sie vor einigen Jahren durch ihren Mann.
