This book expands the experimental setup of Professor Dr. Motschmann and Matthias Hofmann, which automated the measurement of lifetimes of foam lamellae by measuring laser reflectance. Additionally a second laser diode (at a different wavelength) and detector was used in order to investigate the possibility of a simultaneous measurement of the film´s thickness. Two members of the alkylsulfate family, namely of sodium undecyl sulfate (SUndS) and sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) are examined. For the SDS-solutions the influence of sodium chloride and varying concentrations are studied.Philipp Dullinger received his B.Sc. degree in Chemistry at the University of Regensburg in 2017.The bachelor thesis was called "Optische Analyse von Schaumlamellen" (optical analysis of foam lamellae). Currently he is enrolled in the consecutive M.Sc. programme at the University of Regensburg.
