Ever since the industrial revolution, health care financing has been one of the most observed areas of public financing and public policies by both health care providers and its users. This short paper aims to provide a comprehensive overview of Czech health care system, its financing, and to analyze and compare health care services of Czech health care providers. The paper is based on data from WHO, OECD, the European Union, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic as well as author´s own research.
