Mac Barnett is a New York Times bestselling author of many books for children, including Extra Yarn , illustrated by Jon Klassen, which won a 2013 Caldecott Honor and the 2012 Boston Globe Horn Book Award for Excellence in Picture Books, and Battle Bunny , his New York Times bestselling picture book written with Jon Scieszka. He also writes the Brixton Brothers series of mystery novels.

Kevin Cornell is the illustrator of many children´s books, including Count the Monkeys and Mustache! , both by Mac Barnett. Jory John is a New York Times bestselling author of books for both children and adults. He is a two-time E. B. White Read Aloud Honor recipient. Jory work includes the New York Times bestselling Terrible Two series , the award-winning picture book Goodnight Already! , its companion I Love You Already! , the national bestseller All My Friends Are Dead , and a sequel, All My Friends Are Still Dead . Jory has also written for the New York Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, the Believer, McSweeney Internet Tendency , and BuzzFeed , among many other publications. For more than six years, Jory worked as the programs director at 826 Valencia, a nonprofit writing and educational centre in San Francisco Mission District, founded by Dave Eggers.
