Our author Manuel Hilleke has compiled eleven groove-based original compositions and arrangements for professional section and solo playing. Based on simple song forms, you can try yourself in different styles such as jazz, funk, rock ´n´ roll, reggae and so on. Valuable playing guides, graphical instructions for phrasing and articulation as well as exercises for improvisation support you in doing so.

The enclosed MP3-CD provides the authentic band experience. It was recorded live by professional studio musicians and contain a full version of each piece with trumpets, trombones, saxophones, sousaphon and drums. First, get inspiration from the full version. After that, play the solo to the play along!
