The aim of this research is to explore the unique and central position of agriculture, hence the agrocentric theory. Agriculture has always been a dominant issue in medicine and nutrition and so it will remain. Agrocentric theory provides that agriculture and allied issues form the centre of gravity of all phenomena because it acts as a centrifugal force from which other disciplines derive validity. However, natural production of nutrients has never been adequate, hence continuous innovation in this all important area. A new era in agriculture which seeks to redefine the art of medicine and nutrition is electromechanic extraction of nutrients. This is an artificial process in which an electro-mechanical device is able to extract nutrients from the soil by using photosynthesis in imitation of natural plants. The focus of this research is essentially on the possibility of artificial extraction of nutritional and medicinal supplements from the soil. There are essential nutrients which are not fully absorbed by plants through the normal process of photosynthesis and if absorbed are not fully retained by plants for human harvest and consumption. Artificial devices can achieve it.
