Ever since I was a student, my interest in the history and philosophy of the East led me towards Asia. Often I decided to discover this extremely interesting continent in a fairly extreme way - on a bicycle. Divided between the spiritual experience of the East and the rational West, I kept returning, increasingly drawn by the culture, past and authenticity of the people. Travel reports and essays started coming early on, as well as pure field research.

Potocnik, Dragan
Dr Dragan Potocnik is a Slovene professor of history, poet, writer and world traveller. His interest in history and the philosophical thought of Asian and African cultures led him to travel to different countries of both of these continents. Dr. Dragan Potocnik has written travel reportages, essays and has also done field research for his studies.
