Tommy Fox has a box - a box full of frogs... An hilarious counting story full of fun and frogs!
Tommy Fox has a box - a box full of frogs. And when they all jump out at school, thatīs when the fun begins! There is chaos in the classroom and high jinks in the hall. Can Tommy get the frogs back in the box?

Youīll want to hop along with this fun, rhyming text by debut author Howard Calvert with deliciously bright and bold illustrations from Claudia Boldt!
Even if youīre not sure where the phrase īas mad as a box of frogsī comes from, Howard Calvertīs story appears to be proof that with a box of frogs, madness ensues.
Tommy Fox is the boy with the box, and heīs decided to take it to Show and Tell. But the frogs escape, and soon there are frogs jumping all over the school. The frogs cause chaos in the classroom and silliness in the staffroom - thereīs definitely no more schoolwork being done!
Tommy has to catch all the frogs back in to the box, but one mischievous frog named Frank proves elusive to the end. Tom finally gets his frogs under control, but not for long...
This seriously silly story has a fun rhyme that really hops along. Brilliantly energetic illustrations from Claudia Boldt give the whole book a bouncy feel. Itīs sure to make little ones laugh as the frogs get into mischief at school, and when the story ends, itīs placed perfectly to go back to the beginning and start the madness all over again!

Calvert, Howard
As a child, Howard was a big Richard Scarry fan, and still considers Lowly Worm a close confidante, even if he is an anthropomorphic worm. Howard now works as a freelance journalist alongside writing his own childrenīs books. He lives in Hampshire with his wife and two daughters, and enjoys getting covered in mud in the countryside while trail running or mountain biking, eating his own bodyweight in cinnamon buns, riding his Brompton and destroying his kitchen while baking.
