This study assessed the efforts of the Nigerian government in timely curtailing Ebola Viral Disease (EVD) outbreak, of 2014, in Nigeria. And the impact of the measures against EVD, that the government has put in place on social, economic, environmental and cultural factors that indirectly influence health and wellbeing of Nigerians, as an aftermath of her successful containment of EVD in Nigeria. In doing this, five research questions and five hypotheses were generated to carry out the study. The respondents, in this study, consist of a sample of health workers directly or indirectly involved in combating EVD outbreak in Nigeria in 2014, as well as policy makers, Ebola survivors and other stakeholders in the management of the disease, during this time of its outbreak in Nigeria. The research was conducted between May, 2017 and March 2018. A quantitative and qualitative data gathering were adopted for the study, through online survey with the use of validated questionnaire, sent through email with the responses filled via forms created using google forms and a word document formatted replica. Key informants´ interviews and focus group discussions were also conducted.
